Blood for the Gods

Man was not created by the Gods.
The Gods were created by man at a time when man was still that of a brutish brand.
So it’s no wonder that in the Gods of man you will find the less then desirable traits of humankind.
Throughout civilization religious doctrine has provided a justification for slaughter and subjugation.
The bloodshed and rape waged during The Crusades was committed in man’s vengeful Gods’ names.
It is the least verifiable and most firmly believed notions of reality that are advanced by brutality.
It’s a gruesome and inhumane path that man has trod under the guise of gathering
blood for the Gods.

In the name of irrational faith religion has ravaged the human race.
In the name of feeble minded faith the cloth has misguided the human race.

Exodus 22:18 states “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live”.
It is this Biblical decree that provided the warrant for the deaths of millions of women.
Behind the claim that religion makes a less malignant human race it has launched unthinkable persecution.
Under the rule of Constantine all nonbelievers were executed.
It has been said that it is never so gratifying as to cause another pain as when it’s caused in God’s name.
This may be illustrated in the ornament and quantity of torture suffered under Canonical policy.
In the Temple of Solomon the worst atrocities were committed upon nonbelievers for their apostasy.
In the Age of Faith thumbscrews were used to convince apostates to confess so that they could be burnt at the stake.
Virgins in volcanoes were replaced by genitals smashed using the Judas Cradle for drawing blood for the Gods.

Any leniency orthodox religion shows today is due to the cries of it’s victims that were tortured yesterday.
It was only through the secularization of the state that the uncivil, malicious, vindictive, sadistic dictates of the Scriptures were done away with.
It’s ironic that a merciful God should be so misanthropic.
The only hell that I believe in is the human condition, which has been worsened by the dogma of religion.
What’s today referred to as fanatical fundamentalism was yore’s pious abiding by the laws of the Old Testament;
laws such as the penalties for committing sexual sins listed in Leviticus.
The deadly bigotry of the ministry has inflicted misery and scarred human history with blood.
